UIHS Scholarship Prize Drawing

United Indian Health Services, Inc. (UIHS) is excited to share that our recent H.D. “Timm” Williams Memorial American Indian Scholarship Prize Drawing was a success!  Thanks to all the support from our community, artists, donors, Board Members, staff, and supporters, we raised $3,000 for the scholarship fund and received lots of participation with close to 700 tickets entered into the drawing.

The H.D. “Timm” Williams Memorial American Indian Scholarship was created to honor the dedicated and service of Mr. H.D. “Timm” Williams and continues to support American Indian students pursuing careers in health-related fields. Every ticket purchased helps continue the vision by providing educational support for future generations.

This drawing featured 20 amazing gift baskets and prize boxes filled with beautiful handmade items, Native art, jewelry, blankets, crafts, decorative cups, baby rattles, knitted hats, and more.  We are so grateful to the many community members that contributed prizes and helped make the event so special.

With the excitement from all the support for the scholarship fundraiser, UIHS plans to continue the efforts with another scholarship prize drawing during the August 8, 2026 UIHS Annual Membership Meeting. Tickets will be available soon at all locations. Winners will be contacted directly following the drawing.
