United Indian Health Services (UIHS) will hold its Annual Membership Meeting on Saturday, August 8, 2026 -12pm to 3pm, bringing together clients, community members, staff, leadership, and Board Members for a day of connection, celebration, and community updates.
The Annual Membership Meeting is a time to reflect on the past year and celebrate the people, programs, and accomplishments that support American Indian health and wellness throughout our region. The event will include organizational updates, community recognition, and highlights from across UIHS services and programs.
This year’s theme will highlight Traditional Foods and the UIHS Garden Program, recognizing the important connection between culture, food, wellness, and community. Traditional foods have long played an important role in supporting healthy mind, body, and spirit, while also helping strengthen cultural knowledge and connection across generations.
This year’s gathering also comes as UIHS continues expanding services, improving access to care, and supporting cultural wellness programs throughout Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.
UIHS invites clients, elders, families, staff, and community members to join us for this important gathering and celebration.
More event details will be shared as the date approaches.
