Arcata, CA — October 10, 2025 — United Indian Health Services (UIHS) is actively
monitoring the ongoing federal government shutdown and the status of Congressional
negotiations in Washington, D.C.
UIHS wants to assure our clients, patients, and community members that we are fully
prepared for this situation. Thanks to advance planning and strong organizational
readiness, we do not anticipate any interruption in services. All clinics, programs,
and outreach activities will continue to operate as scheduled.
Clients can continue to attend appointments, contact their care teams, and access
services across all UIHS locations without concern.
