What is MyChart?

MyChart is a secure online portal where patients can access their health information, communicate with their care team, and manage appointments.

How do I sign up fo MyChart?

Patients can sign up online with an activation code from their provider, request access during a visit, or self-enroll using personal information.

Is MyChart secure?

Yes. MyChart uses encrypted communication and login protections to keep health information sage.

Can I see my test results on MyChart?

Yes. Most lab, imaging, and diagnostic results are released to MyChart–sometimes immediately, sometime after provider review.

Can I message my doctor through MyChart?

Yes. You can send secure, non-urgent messages to your care team and receive responses within a few business days.

Can I schedule or change appointments?

Yes. Many clinics allow appointment scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling directly though MyChart.

Can I request prescription refills?

Yes. MyChart allows refill requests and helps track medication lists.

Can I access MyChart on my phone?

Yes. The MyChart mobile app is available for both iOS and Android.

Can my family members use MyChart too?

Yes. With “proxy access,” parents, guardians, or caregivers can manage a child’s or dependent’s MyChart account (with proper permissions).

What if I forgot my username or password?

You can reset login information online or by contacting MyChart support at your health system.

What will I see in MyChart?

You will only see notes created after our go-live date. Previous history will not be available. Your MyChart will appear empty until you have a visit with your provider and new notes are added.
