Come See Us at Rrak Jach Vision

UIHS Vision has a new home at Rrak Jach and we are here to stay!

Rrak Jach (Valley East) is now the permanent Arcata location for UIHS Vision services, it will not be returning to its previous location at Potawot Health Village.

Our Rrak Jach Vision team is available five days a week, with appointments with a Vision provider available Monday through Friday. Optical services are available five days a week to help clients with frames, lenses, repairs, adjustments and other eyewear needs.

Good vision is an important part of staying healthy!  Caring for our eyes helps us continue doing the things we enjoy, participating in our communities and sharing experiences across generations.

Vision services include comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma and cataract evaluations, urgent eye care and other services to help protect your vision and eye health.

If it’s time for a new pair of glasses, make an appointment to come check out our new frame room, with a wide selection of frames and lenses to choose from, including our Native Vision line designed by Native artists.

Optometrist Dr. Nativo continues to see clients at Jaroujiji Health Clinic in Eureka on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Optical services for your glasses needs are still open five days a week at Jaroujiji.

Also, UIHS now provides Vision services at  Taa-‘at-dvn Health Village in Crescent City three days a week, helping bring eye care closer to our communities throughout the North Coast. Our Vision providers see clients at  Taa-‘at-dvn on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays each week. Whether you’re due for an eye exam, need new glasses or just want to see our new space, come see us at Rrak Jach!

We look forward to caring for you and your family for generations to come.
