Roy is a seasoned IT healthcare executive with a rich history of driving transformation across five leading healthcare systems nationwide, along with valuable consulting experience at several medium-sized and start-up healthcare organizations. His passion has always been to harness innovation to improve client outcomes and streamline organizational efficiency.

What truly drives Roy is his belief that great leadership is rooted in collaboration and vision. Early in his career, he learned that empowering teams and fostering an environment of transparency and continuous learning leads to sustainable success. Whether developing strategic road maps or managing complex system deployments like EHRs and AI, Roy’s leadership is about inspiring others to see beyond immediate tasks – helping teams envision the bigger picture of healthcare transformation. 

He believes in guiding with humility, listening actively, and building relationships based on trust and shared purpose. To Roy, leadership is about inspiring others, fostering purpose, and continuously evolving to meet the challenges of health care’s future.

Throughout his career, Roy has led initiatives like cybersecurity enhancements, application rationalization, and infrastructure modernization, always focused on operational excellence and resilience. His dedication to continuous learning is evident in his pursuit of multiple certifications and a constant curiosity about emerging trends, ensuring he stays at the forefront of healthcare innovation.

Roy earned an MBA from Columbia University NY, MS in Software Engineering from National University CA, and a BS in Mathematics from Brigham Young University UT. 

Outside of work, he and his wife raised their four children in N. California, and now empty nesters, they’re passionate about traveling and visiting their four grandchildren.
