The Mission of the Nutrition Services Department is to offer a variety of culturally appropriate programs with the goal of improving the nutrition status of the UIHS community in order to: enhance the quality of life; prevent the onset of disease; or, manage nutrition related disease.

Community Food Garden - Here's how you can share in the fun: "Take the Pathway to Health" is a self-guided tour of the garden; "Cultivate Your Knowledge" is an ongoing series of workshops; "Volunteer" means many hands to help the garden grow; "Share the Harvest" is the produce stand and the seasonal subscription for fresh produce.
