dental services to all clients through patient education,
preventive dentistry, oral diagnosis, and treatment of
oral health conditions. Comprehensive dental services
consist of all procedures necessary to restore and maintain

Additionally, oral health care referrals for specialty consultations
or services not provided at the UIHS Dental Department are made when
needed.
Clinic Hours:
Dental clinic hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00
p.m. in both Humboldt and Del Norte Clinical Facilities.
The Humboldt Dental Clinical Facility in Arcata is closed for
lunch from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
The Del Norte Dental Clinical Section in Smith River is closed
for lunch from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
Dental Clinical Facilities are closed periodically for dental
meetings and maintenance.
